Priya Ved

My name is Priya Ved and I am a global Talent Partner at Euroclear. I started my career journey back in India, as an HR specialist in Talent Acquisition and Training and Development. My journey thereafter has enriched me with multiple facets of HR including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, HR operations, strategic project planning and team management.

I moved to Belgium in 2014 to explore the international scope of opportunities. While I was keen to follow my passion in HR, I realised it was important to initially onboard myself in the county-specific culture and enable the language knowledge to continue working in my field of interest. I invested a few years to learn the language which opened the relevant working avenues for me. This really was a turning point in my career to acknowledge the need for multiculturality across borders.

The possibility to harness collaboration with different cultures automatically leads to an inclusive working approach and supports diversity to further motivate transversal exchange."

I had the opportunity to be a part of the Multicultural Bankers Network via Euroclear to contribute to the HR processes workstream. Euroclear has a company culture which is extremely supportive of diversity and multicultural inclusion. This support motivated me to further my experience and contribute to the global cause of binding across cultures and people.

I believe and hope, to positively partner with the team of MBN to promote the importance of multicultural inclusion and create a platform of information for the industry to enhance the same within their organisations.
