I have been working in Investment Operations for more than 15 years in France and the UK and currently working as Head of Custody Belgium at BNP Paribas Securities Service.
Since I started working in financial services I have seen the industry evolve in terms of inclusion with greater gender equality and definitely more places with multi-cultural environments.
At the start of my career, I would have loved having role models I could identify with and workplaces with unique perspectives and insights driven by an inclusive multicultural environment.
When I became Head of the department, I received frequent requests from young female professionals especially black girls asking me for mentoring and sponsorship.
I realized that I have the chance to give them what I wish I had at the start of my career and that’s one of the reasons I joined MCBN.
